(DY220) From Fermentis, this yeast has been produced specifically for fruit distillation. Specifically designed to pull out the fruit character from fruits such as plums, cherries, pears, apples just to name a few. Works well in a wider range of temperatures 59 - 90°F. General dose is approx 30 - 50 grams per 100 liters. Which works out to a simple dose of 2 level teaspoons per 5 gallons. Product is packaged in 500 grams (1.10 lb) package. After opening should be used within 90 days.

With ideal conditions, do you know what the potential alcohol is of the distiller`s yeast?
The distiller yeast should be able to produce about 18% alcohol.
