(DY225) From Fermentis, this yeast has been produced specifically for American Whiskey and Bourbon distillation. Works well in a wider range of temperatures 68 - 90°F. General dose is approx 50 - 80 grams per 100 liters. Which works out to a simple dose of 1 level tablespoons per 5 gallons. Product is packaged in 500 grams (1.10 lb) package, and is sufficient for over 100 gallons of mash. After opening should be used within 90 days.

With ideal conditions, do you know what the potential alcohol is of the distiller`s yeast?
The distiller yeast should be able to produce about 18% alcohol.
