(DY110) This yeast is well suited for fermenting mashes that are intended to be later distilled into spirits. Produces higher level of starch-converting enzymes than most yeasts. Which means it can produce higher levels of alcohol when fermenting grains and other produces with heavy starches. Usually not used for fermenting wines and beers. Comes in a 4 oz. re-sealable container that is sufficient for fermenting 20 gallons of mash.

With ideal conditions, do you know what the potential alcohol is of the distiller`s yeast?
The distiller yeast should be able to produce about 18% alcohol.
