(GR120) This malted barley is used as the base malt when brewing all-grain beers. Six-row, in general, is associated with cleaner, crisper tasting American style beers. It is seldom used elsewhere but in the U.S. and can be used in conjuction with two-row and specialty malts to alter its character.
